Ralph’s La Jolla Store has a very nice kosher section towards the back of the store, next to the produce section. The kosher section includes many Israeli food products, including:
- OSEM – pasta (spirals and macaroni), bread crumbs, soup nuts, soup mixes, seasoning mixes, heat and serve pasta and rice
- TELMA – bouillon cubes, soup mixes
- ELITE – assorted candies (e.g. bubble gum, hard candy), chocolate bars (bittersweet, milk chocolate with hazelnuts, etc.)
- KEDEM – tea biscuits, sugar free cookies, preserves, marmalade, jelly
- WISSOTZKY – teas: “Classic,” English Breakfast, Rosehips and Hibiscus, Nana, etc
- SAVION – clear plastic packages of dried parsley, onions, garlic, and soup greens
- STRAUSS – pudding (vanilla, chocolate) in the refrigerator case
- CARMEL and GAMLA – wine. Some of the wines are in the kosher section, but there are more in the regular wine area, which is on the other side of the store.
The kosher wines in the regular wine area are placed all together, but the section is not marked or separate. The easiest way to find it
is to look for something very recognizable, like Manishewitz. (All the Israeli wines will be with the other kosher wines.)
